The park is part of the Cape Floristic Region (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and hosts a variety of vegetation types, including:

  • Fynbos (dominant vegetation, with Proteas, Ericas, Restios, and geophytes)
  • Renosterveld (endangered shrubland with Elytropappus rhinocerotis)
  • Coastal Dune Vegetation (salt- and wind-resistant species like Metalasia muricata)
  • Wetlands & Riparian Zones (e.g., Prionium serratum (Palmiet) in waterlogged areas)
  • Endemic & Rare Species (e.g., Agulhas Limestone Fynbos species, Moraea villosa)
